John Gunnerson

John Gunnarson is an independent consultant, providing training and technical assistance to Head Start and early childhood programs throughout the United States and internationally. He also teaches early childhood education at the College of Marin in California. Learn more

Judy Cashell

Extensive career in early childhood education focused on supervision and administration with experience in Head Start / Early Head Start. Expertise in management of education services and training and technical assistance. Implementation of new programs and initiatives, grant writing, and curriculum development. Learn more

Wendy Hoogeveen

Wendy Hoogeveen works for the Iowa Department of Human Services in the Child Care Bureau.  She started her career in early childhood working in a center that served a diverse population in a low-income neighborhood, where she experienced numerous challenging behaviors.  Learn more

Julian Walker

Julian Walker is the Certified Parent Engagement Expert with J. Walker Enterprises and CEO of EPEC. The Encouraging Parent Engagement Curriculum ( EPEC) is a research based longitudinal studies that teaches its customers the concept and the art of compelling parents to engage in the school setting with their children on a continuous bases. Learn more

Stephanie Johnson

For 20 years, Stephanie Johnson has been working with children and their parents, both as an educator and therapist. Stephanie works with children is based on early movements and is often called developmental movement therapy or somatic therapy. Learn more

Kristin Tenney-Blackwell

Kristin has been active in providing consultation and guidance for national organizations and other early childhood programs on issues related to early childhood mental health. Kristin works for Vanderbilt University and maintains her private practice in which she has worked with young children and families for over fifteen years. Learn more

Sara Quintanar

Sara Quintanar, a native of Los Angeles, is a bilingual Early Childhood Music Educator, Author, Songwriter and Performance Artist. Sara grew up in a bilingual household, where her mother from Monterrey, Mexico spoke to her in Spanish, and her father born in Los Angeles only spoke English. Learn more
