A Community Workshop: Addressing Rural, Tribal, & At Risk Populations through Family Education Programs

Danny ‘Ka’eo’ Goya:

Mr. Goya  has over 15 years of experience teaching K-12 in the Hawai’I State Department of Education. He is one of only two active male NCFL (National Center for Family Literacy) Certified Trainers in the nation, and the only  Certified Trainer focusing their efforts on homeless families.

Mr. Goya will be discussing:

  • Prevention Strategy
  • Outreach/Awareness
  • Research and Policy
  • Toxic Stress and Trauma
  • ACES

Light refreshments will be served in the morning and a box lunch will be served as well.
