This session introduces recommended strategies to help children develop self-regulation skills. We begin by fostering emotional literacy, using visuals and prompts to help children express and label their feelings through games, songs, and stories. We then introduce the Tucker Turtle Technique, a visual tool designed to help children control their emotions and problem-solve using effective, age-appropriate strategies.
