    Hello everyone!

A friendly check in to see how other Region 9 HR members maintain positive Employee Relations. I’d love to hear your strategies!

    Thanks,
    Katherine

    Hi Katherine,

This is one area which I would like to explore as well. We are planning on conducting an employee engagement survey that would help identify the areas in which we would need to focus as one part of our strategy.

We also plan to gather additional information from stay interviews and exit interviews. Hopefully that will be a good start.

    Best,

    Luda

    Hi folks,

Just joined, but I love this subject. ER happens at the front line and I have broken the code to open the door for more dialog.

I have two blat emails per week. Safety Tip Monday and Let’s Lead Thursday. The Safety Tip goes to all staff. I concentrate on safety and wellness…especially stress. It is majorly appreciated and I find the lines of communication are really starting to develop.

Let’s Lead is directed at the management staff. I have been sharing tidbits from the Peter Bregman book, Four Seconds. Again…outstanding feedback.

My point? Crack the baseline communication barrier and use as a building block for more ER communication.

    Cheers!
