BACK HOME|REGISTRATION

The Region 9 Head Start Association is looking for early childhood educators who are interested in presenting at our Curriculum Fair at the 2018 Family Engagement and Cultural Effectiveness Conference in Maui, Hawaii to be held on Thursday October 25, 2018.

The Curriculum Fair will provide participants an opportunity to showcase some of their program’s high impact practices. We are looking for Head Start staff who are interested in having their activities displayed in the conference. An opportunity will be provided for staff to present their ideas to others during the conference.

Proposals for Curriculum Fair presenters are welcome and will be reviewed by the Conference Planning Committee for acceptance. Please review the description of this event to help plan your curriculum projects and Curriculum Fair proposal. Teams of teachers are encouraged to apply!

Completed Proposal applications should be submitted to the Region 9 Head Start Association. Proposals should include a project presentation title, presentation description (100 – 125 words), and a biography of the presenter’s qualifications. Indicate how the project is aligned with the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework in the areas of cognitive development, science and mathematics.

Send an email to let our Curriculum Fair coordinators, Debbi Amaral (debbi.amaral@meoinc.org) and Larae Balag (Larae@mfss.org) know that you will be participating. Use the subject line “2018 FECE Curriculum Fair” on your e-mail.
