The Program for Infant Toddler Care Hybrid Trainer’s Institute

Presented by Elizabeth Crocker, PITC Director of Training and Certification

Infants come into the world hardwired to learn and make connections with their caregivers for physical needs and to build trusting relationships as the foundation of social emotional development and school readiness. The Program for Infant Toddler Care (PITC), practices support optimal development for infants and toddlers.

In this webinar hear about how The PITC Hybrid Trainer’s Institute…

  1. Builds capacity to support improving quality of infant and toddler care aligned with performance standards
  2. Deepens your understanding of how to enhance the professional development of infant and toddler care teachers and family childcare providers
  3. Connects current research in infant and toddler development and care to practice through an inquiry process to co-construct learning with providers and parents

The PITC Hybrid Trainer’s Institute blends adult learning strategies and infant-toddler research based practice for participants in the program in preparation for supporting programs and care teachers of children birth to three. The goal of the program is to engage caregivers in a partnership of inquiry based learning where content is delivered in a relationship providing a co-constructivist approach to working with infant care professionals.

The Quality Improvement Network Informational Webinar

R9HSA and Early Intel are delighted to announce a new resource delivering data dashboards and benchmark analysis supported by expert, hands on faculty to help you implement continuous improvement: the Quality Improvement Network. Applications are opening for up to 25 programs to participate.

As a Head Start leader, you appreciate the challenge of using data to drive stronger outcomes. It’s not enough to attend a training or hire a data expert. That’s why we’ve created the Q.I. Network, an analytics based learning community to help move programs from basic compliance to sustained performance and outcomes.
