Christina Hake is the Business Development Consultant in charge of partnerships for R9HSA and is responsible for securing funding and creating strategic alliances with partners in the ECE community.
From 2008 – 2017 Christina worked with the California Head Start Association. She was responsible for directing statewide training events and cultivating the Association’s corporate partnerships. In her role as event manager she was responsible for a $500K professional development budget as well as partnerships. Ms. Hake earned her CMP Credential (Certified Meeting Professional) from the Convention Industry Council in 2012. Christina earned her B.A. degree in Spanish and Women’s Studies at California State University of Sacramento in 2006.
With first-hand knowledge having been an Avery Murphy client, Christina chose to make a career out of the #1 service that she used during her 10 years as a meeting professional for the California Head Start Association. Now, as the Chief Solutions Officer of Avery Murphy LLC, Christina’s goal is to give her clients back time by streamlining the site selection process and alleviating risk through strategic contract negotiations on their behalf.
Christina aspires to utilize her rich history with the Head Start community as well as her sales and negotiating prowess with her Avery Murphy business to continue supporting funding and partnership initiatives in the Head Start community as a consultant.
I have been to management workshops, not leadership training. This has totally changed my perspective and encouraged me to propel forward in developing my skills.
I am honored and humbled to be a recipient of the Region 9 Head Start Association’s Legacy Scholarship. The scholarship helped me get one step closer to achieving my goal of becoming a Head Start Director.
I took part in The disproportionate impact of COVID 19, and how to provide “real” support for black/brown children and families and I just want to say this was an amazing webinar. I hope we can look forward to further conversation on this topic.
