However, the reality is that it takes a great deal of balance between research and the actual steps needed to teach and maintain success in the setting. True teaching requires an understanding of the intersections of race, socio-economics and levels of determination. This webinar will help you develop a balance between teaching and learning in such a way that it will inspire you to create positive interactions within your school and community. As a product of the Harvard Advanced Educational Leadership Program, Dr. Kimberly P. Johnson, author and educator, will use her own experiences and the experiences of cultural context, to provide practical strategies and activities to participants.
