A community of practice for Head Start and Early Head Start HR Professionals who manage the various aspects of employee management, such as compensation, engagement, wellness and development.
HR Professionals in our Head Start and Early Head Start programs are vital to the well-being of our staff. The key areas of impact include recruitment, retention and performance. In addition, well managed HR services are central to professional development, organizational culture and community impact. HSW believes our HR professionals are fundamental to the success of a high impact organization.
This community of practice includes HR Directors or Managers, Recruitment Specialists, Training and Development Coordinators, Compensation and Benefits specialists, Coaches and generalists. for 2026, Head Start WEST has four sessions planned to be facilitated by Denitza Colores of Colores Enterprises. Participants are encouraged to email questions to Danya at dtorp@headstartwest.org.
