Why Advocacy?

Advocacy is an essential task of each member of our community. Head Start parents and staff intuitively advocate for their families, in their workplaces, and in their communities. Parents understand the urgency and importance of high-quality services. At Region 9 Head Start, we are passionate about the possibility of giving all families and children from birth to 5, an opportunity to succeed in school, and in life. This is our purpose. We believe we must take action today and every day to ensure this generation and the next generation receive the Head Start Advantage!
