Head Start California is transforming our signature Health Institute to a virtual event in this new COVID-19 world. For all of its heartbreaking tragedies, COVID-19 is also driving changes that will benefit the world and humanity. Social distancing aside, our ability to interact with one another through virtual video settings avoids the constraints and environmental impact of physical travel, along with time efficiencies and financial savings.
I have been to management workshops, not leadership training. This has totally changed my perspective and encouraged me to propel forward in developing my skills.
I am honored and humbled to be a recipient of the Head Start WEST’s Legacy Scholarship. The scholarship helped me get one step closer to achieving my goal of becoming a Head Start Director.
