A deep-dive program that requires homework completed ahead of time, The Leadership Challenge for Head Start Managers and Directors is based upon The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership, developed by Jim Kouzes and Berry Posner. Their Leadership Challenge Model is the most recognized standard of leadership excellence. In demystifying the leadership concept and presenting it as a set of learnable behaviors, Kouzes and Posner will show how leadership development is self-development: It takes practice—and is both an aspiration and a choice.
