Why Become a Member

Membership Application Form

Membership dues for the R9HSA give you and your staff full access to our new MyR9HSA portal. This new tool is the ultimate member hub for Region 9’s members. Through this cloud-based software, members are able to:

  • Register for R9HSA’s events
  • Access and pay for all R9HSA-related balances, such as event registrations, membership dues, etc.
  • Participate in various networks regarding key topics in Head Start, such as our HR Network, Directors Exchange, and more coming soon
  • Establish learning communities associated with R9HSA events
  • Create social connections with peers in Head Start who are also R9HSA members and share great resources
  • Search member directories
  • Create, join, and participate in discussion boards
  • Track enrolled staff’s professional development in regard to their attendance at any R9HSA events
  • Customize your personal profile with photos, information, and status updates

Types of membership

Agency Membership

Agency Membership includes any organization operating with Head Start, Early Head Start, Tribal, and Migrant funds. Membership is open to organizations operating as a grantee or delegate in the Region 9 geographic area. Dues are set according to your total grant level. This would include Head Start, Early Head Start, Tribal, and Migrant grants your agency holds.

Corporate Membership

Corporations and other allied organizations are welcome to join the R9HSA as Corporate Members. Depending on the nature of the product or service, the Corporate Member will be listed as one of our Training Partners or as a Service and Resource.

Friends Membership

Friends of the R9HSA are individuals who value the work of the association. Friend Membership allows you to hold an individual membership and includes all member benefits, such as registration discounts, participation on our
Board of Directors, and advisory groups.

  • Agency Membership
    Agency Head Start, and or Early Head Start Budget R9HSA Annual Dues 2023-2024
    0 – $1 million $340.00
    $1.1 – $5 million $675.00
    $5.1 – $15 million $1,015.00
    $15.1 – $25 million $1,350.00
    $25.1 – $40 million $1,690.00
    $40.1 – $60 million $2,025.00
    $60 million + $2,365.00
  • Corporate Membership — $500/yr
  • Friends Membership — $250/yr
