What

Each Year, Region 9 Head Start Association reviews the available resources donated to our organization and establishes criteria for eligibility to apply for available funds. For 2022 the following criteria will determine if an applicant may apply.

  • Full time employee at HS or EHS at Region 9 member agency
  • Or Member of Parent Policy Council/Committee
  • Enrolled in accredited institution of higher education pursuing a post-secondary degree

Funds won will be directed to your school for use on tuition, fees, books, and materials. The Scholarship and awards committee will review each qualified applicant to determine need and commitment to the applicant’s educational goals.  Grant levels are differentiated by state the winner resides in.
