For our September Directors Exchange call, we will be joined by a special guest – Ann Linehan, well-known for her service to OHS, now a consultant to NHSA. Her current passion is to promote awareness of HS/EHS need to spend down of CARES, CRRSA and ARP funds. We will have her speak at the opening of the call to alert us, and then pivot to R9 program examples of how they are investing funds/planning to spend on essential projects.
The Directors Exchange is designed to create a space for executive directors, directors, and deputy directors to regularly connect, learn new skills and strategize over effective practices to advance their programs.
I have been to management workshops, not leadership training. This has totally changed my perspective and encouraged me to propel forward in developing my skills.
I am honored and humbled to be a recipient of the Head Start WEST’s Legacy Scholarship. The scholarship helped me get one step closer to achieving my goal of becoming a Head Start Director.
I took part in The disproportionate impact of COVID 19, and how to provide “real” support for black/brown children and families and I just want to say this was an amazing webinar. I hope we can look forward to further conversation on this topic.
