Description:
The changes to the Designation Renewal System (recompetition) and monitoring for Head Start, provide a window of opportunity for programs to work towards quality improvement by implementing innovative content and approaches to the structures and processes that exist in your program. In this 3 part series, participants will have the opportunity to engage deeply on three topics 1) “The Cookie” University of Florida framework to consider structures, processes, & conditions that impact planning and program design, including communication to governing bodies 2) talk about the fiscal considerations of the new rule, how to rationalize new expenditures and ensure costs are reasonable and allowable and 3) consider the use of technology at all levels from cost to training and infrastructure. Each 75-minute interactive episode will build on the previous one and include exercises, resources, and technical assistance from both the facilitators and your colleagues.
