Mental Health & Head Start: Creating a Culture of Wellness

March 11 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Free

Now more than ever, a strength-based, resilience-focused approach to supporting the mental health of children, families, and Head Start staff is essential. Since 1999, Head Start programs across the country have used resources developed by the Devereux Center for Resilient Children (DCRC) to meet several key Head Start Performance Standards around mental health, resulting in higher quality services that strengthen child outcomes. With the newly revised standards now out, DCRC is offering a free webinar to discuss how they can support you in meeting both the existing and newly revised standards, particularly when it comes to staff wellness and the mental and social-emotional health of young children and their parents/families.
