The Discovery Source and Head Start WEST unite as partners for Quarter 3 of this year, providing members and those affected with solutions for challenging behaviors, trauma informed care, family engagement and more. “We want to solve the issues within the Early Childhood Education community and continue to be a valuable resource for our customers. Our goal with this partnership is to be able to share our knowledge and resources with the Head Start WEST community, through a first time-ever revenue sharing program and educational lunch & learn workshops. We are excited to share our first webinar generated over 100 registrants! We have already helped several programs through this partnership, and we can’t wait for the future!” says David Scahill, CEO & President. The Discovery Source’s mission is to create classroom and professional development materials to help teachers, providers, and families succeed in teaching young children social, emotional, and cognitive skills to help them in school and in life!

The Discovery Source is exclusive, sole-source partners with The Pyramid Model Consortium. Together, they create high-quality, ready-made materials to help teachers implement The Pyramid Model framework training to fidelity. The Discovery Source is the sole source publisher and distributor of (5) individual or (1) complete Classroom Kit that teachers can use immediately in the classrooms and family childcare homes. They also support social-emotional development through our Calming Kits, social emotional book sets, and much more!

“We are a large child care agency that was seeking a product we could use to help our teachers when dealing with children’s challenging behaviors. We knew that there were a lot of other companies we could have gone with, but without hesitation, we went with The Discovery Source. The customer service and the products they offer are superior. If you are looking for a high-quality product for your program that can support your teachers, there is no question that The Discovery Source is the way to go. The Discovery Source, our teachers say “Thank You”.” – Angela Lucero, Staff Development Specialist with Mexican American Opportunity Foundation

The Discovery Source has been a part of the California and west-coast Early Education Community for the last 10+ years, flourishing hundreds of relationships with well-renowned ECE community members and specialists. All of the resources they share are inspired from the prevalent needs within our industry and brought to life from the knowledge of the experts and professional development teams they partner with.
