pattern pattern

Rick Mockler, MA, MPA serves as principal for Early Intel.  Services include:

  • Data Audits – Review a program’s capacity and data integrity, examining tools, processes, analytics and decision making. Illuminate what is “under the hood” and how to improve.
  • Workflow Mapping – Map the steps for data ingestion: collection, coding, monitoring, entry, tracking and storage, and then identify ways to simplify and streamline.
  • Quality Improvement Planning — Help programs identify tools and strategies for measurably improving child and family outcomes.
  • Early Impact Summit – Organize and host Early Impact, the only event for early childhood program leaders dedicated entirely to performance measurement and quality improvement.

Rick previously served as Chief Quality Improvement Officer for the National Head Start Association and as Executive Director for the California Head Start Association.  While at NHSA, he staffed the Monitoring Redesign Task Force which informed the overhaul of the Aligned Monitoring System, and oversaw planning and content for the Early Childhood Innovation Summit and Manager & Director Academy.  At CHSA, he successfully advocated to streamline state mandates on child assessment requirements, focusing on metrics that mattered.
