    Mobile Services Program Development and Sustainability (Part II)

    A second webinar will be offered by LACOE to participants who want to learn more about program development and service delivery for mobile services. Both HOPE the Bus and HOPE on Wheels are equipped with ample and adequate technology and furnishings to function as a mini indoor or outdoor classroom environment, exam room, meeting room, recruitment center, training space, or office space, including a kitchen and restroom.

    Workforce Development: Parent to Teacher Program – Growing Our Own

    Presented by Veronica Garcia & Tony Jordan – Stanislaus County Office of Education

    Learn how a Head Start program partnered with local institutions of higher learning (i.e. colleges) to make this happen. In less than one year, they have had 60 parents complete the program and 17 of them already employed at sites.  It has been a huge success! They will provide step by step guidance and simple forms/processes used in their program. There will also be a section dedicated to questions and answers.
