Scott Shigeoka

Opening Keynote Session

Scott Shigeoka is an internationally recognized curiosity expert, speaker, and the author of the award-winning book Seek: How Curiosity Can Transform Your Life and Change the World. His research-based work promotes positive well-being and relationships, including at UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center and through his groundbreaking courses at the University of Texas at Austin. 

He has spoken at schools, organizations, and conferences around the world. He is also a screenwriter and playwright with two major projects in development. He is from Hawaii but now lives in California. Scott’s work has appeared on The Today Show, Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, Financial Times, Forbes, CNBC, and more than 70 other outlets worldwide. His dynamic, creative, and interactive keynotes and workshops have been experienced by hundreds of thousands of people across the world.

Tricia Bookhart

Closing Keynote Session
April 2, 2025 12:30-1:30 PM

Tricia A. Bookhart is a native of Long Island, New York. She has worked in the Human Resources field for over 27 years starting her career at Cablevisions Systems Corporation previously employed for with Paychex Inc, The Smith Center for the Performing Arts and currently with the State at the Nevada Gaming Control Board as the HR Manager. Mrs. Bookhart obtained her Bachelor of Science, in Business Administration from New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury, New York.  Ms. Bookhart has also obtained her Master of Arts in Leadership & Management in May 2016 from Trinity Seminary and a second Master of Arts in Human Resources with a Non-Profit Concentration from Hope University in 2020.  Mrs. Bookhart previously served for two terms as the local President of the Las Vegas Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, prior returning to this Servant Leadership role in February of this 2022. Being recognized for her service and dedication, Mrs. Bookhart is honored to be the first person appointed to the position of Chaplain of the National Board and currently serves as a National Board of Director, Committee Chair and Co-Chair of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women. Tricia is a third generation Pastor’s child. Mrs. Bookhart is a 2021 Graduate of the Las Vegas Leadership Program of Nevada. In 2025, Tricia earned the Certified Public Manager designation by the State of Nevada. Mrs. Bookhart is also a proud member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc where she serves in State and Local appointments. In 2021, Tricia was blessed to marry her High Sweetheart, Jaye Bookhart after 28 years. Mrs. Bookhart is the proud mother to Malachi, Messiah and Marcelleus, three of her greatest accomplishments.  Tricia unapologetically embraces the mission to impact the lives of those she is connected to and make an imprint on their future success.
