  • Dr. Sherryl Heller

    Dr. Sherryl Scott Heller is a licensed psychologist and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Tulane University, with over 30 years of experience in infant and early childhood mental health, consultation, and reflective supervision. She directs the National Center for Reflective Supervision and Practice, co-edited A Practical Guide to Reflective Supervision, and has led national efforts to advance reflective practice through training, research, and consultation. 

  • Larry Campbell

    Larry is a nationally respected coach, consultant, and former Head Start Executive Director with over 20 years of experience in the early childhood field. After leading s large Head Start grantee, in 2019 Larry launched a full-time coaching and consulting practice focused exclusively on supporting Head Start programs across the country.

    He is best known for his dynamic and practical approach to professional development, offering hands-on coaching clinics where instructional coaches practice real-time role-play scenarios, receive individualized feedback, and strengthen their ability to lead transformative coaching conversations. In addition to building instructional capacity, he provides executive coaching to Head Start directors, CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) coaching, and career development coaching to Head Start staff at all levels.

    A sought-after speaker, Larry regularly delivers keynotes and full-day training during Head Start pre-service and mid-service events, with a special focus on emotional intelligence and its role in unlocking leadership potential and improving program-wide culture.

    He holds a Master’s degree and is certified by the Certified Coaches Alliance in Executive Coaching, Organizational Development Coaching, and Life Coaching. Grounded in the realities of Head Start and passionate about the power of coaching, Larry brings both heart and strategy to every session he leads.

     

  • Kamaie Clark

    Kamaie Clark is a dedicated professional with 15 years of experience in early childhood education, currently serving as the Assistant Director at Southwest Human Development. Her extensive background includes roles as a teacher, coach, and director, and she holds a master’s degree in early childhood education. Kamaie is passionate about nurturing young children’s growth and development.

    In addition to her role at Southwest Human Development, Kamaie is the President of the Arizona affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), where she advocates for and supports educators. Her professional focus is on coaching and professional development, aiming to provide educators with the resources they need to excel.

    Outside of work, Kamaie enjoys hiking in Arizona’s scenic landscapes and is a proud mother to a nine-year-old daughter.
