COVID Guidelines

pattern pattern

All attendees must be fully vaccinated as defined by the CDC to attend a Head Start WEST event, this includes presenters and support staff. We encourage the booster vaccinations. We will be providing a link to upload proof of vaccinations and/or exemptions as allowed by their employer.

We rely on you to manage your own personal health. If an attendee develops any symptoms of COVID-19 prior to or during a meeting or event, they should refrain from attending and should undergo COVID-19 testing . Symptoms associated with COVID-19 include fever, cough, and shortness of breath, among others. If a participant’s absence is due to COVID-19, their registration fees will be reimbursed in full. Lastly, registered participants need to let a HSW staff know immediately if they test positive for COVID-19 within 2 weeks after the event.

Mask wearing will be required throughout the event including the sessions, during networking breaks, and with meeting the sponsors. Snacks will be individually wrapped, and attendees will have access to social distance eating. Take away boxed lunches will be provided, and social distance eating will be available.

Plenty of hand sanitizer and comfortable masks will be provided throughout the event. We support a no handshake culture.

We will continue to follow CDC guidelines and local city regulations for any further changes or updates. We thank our community for getting vaccinated to keep each other safe. We all benefit from live events for the invaluable connections and cutting-edge content as this can make all the difference in how we learn and inspire from one and other. It is vital we collectively demonstrate responsible conferencing as we transition back to face-to-face meetings.
